With it's complete integration in to Active Directory there is no need to learn another Management Console as the entire Data Protection Platform is based around MMC (Microsoft Management Console) and simple, additional Snap-ins. 

Administration is simple, the Framework Clients are created and deployed as msi files allowing simple deployment with either Group Policy, Tivoli, SMS or any other method of msi deployment. 

Once the Framework Client is deployed, any further changes are simply made by a change in Group Policy with no further client files needing to be deployed.

The Guardian Edge Software also allows an at-a-glance view of the current status of all devices across a domain or forest.  This
provides details on encryption software status i.e. encrypted, encrypting or decrypted as well as full user account information.  These statistics can be exported as a csv file for analysis by any package allowing a csv file import.
